Central Park West is a Neo-Fusion 214 band. An original blend of eclectic styles ranging from jazz, rock, blues, and funk, they find themselves in a unique universe of chaos and creation. Their music has been evolving over the last two years with the live shows and new material. They write music for the pure richness of the music itself, creating a vision of color, sound, and emotion from this palette of the soul and the pure energy they receive from their fans. Kristen Chandler and Michael James came to open mic at the BRC last Saturday and gave one of the most soulful performances we ever heard at the Black Rose Caffe. They were so good we had to ask them to return.

They will be performing this Saturday night, September 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This promises to be one of the best feee concerts you will ever hear anywhere! Please plan to join us this Saturday as we welcome this talented duo to play at the Black Rose Caffe.

Kristen Chandler is a vocalist of a raw and soulful character, and her emotive singing is definite
and original. Through her repertoire of original works, soul, funk, jazz, R & B and blues, she
captivates every ear her voice reaches. Kristen is coupled with singer/songwriter Michael James
Zimmerman, and she records and performs with a standard band of superb musicians playing
percussion, guitar, bass, and piano.
